Efreet Spartan

This is a custom build of the Efreet Jaeger that is inspired by the character Spartan A239 Emile from the video game Halo Reach. When the Efreet Jaeger came out with its shotgun and kukuri knife, I knew I had to make an Emile custom.
Modifications include:

• I extended the torso and arms
• Kitbashed shotgun and arm cannon from various Bandai and Kotobukiya parts
• I built the knife holder from styrene plastic and modified the length of the knife
• General scribing and seam line removal
• Paints are a mix of Mr. Hobby and Tamiya lacquer paints.

This was also my first time weathering a kit. I used Vallejo acrylics to do the chipping and applied a MiG enamel wash. Overall I’m pretty happy with the build. I think it captures the general essence of Emile’s character design.
