I wanted to try and upgrade the FM full mechanics into a MG mastergrade by adding more details such as fully painting the inner frame and adding waterslide decals. It was the first time I tried somethin like that.
The sword i sprayed with greedy gold rattlecan from army painter.
Posing proved to be very difficult. The fm kit could not fully handle its own weight.
I got the decals from a random other kit that had light grey instead of black decals. That went really well with the white.
Having a fully metallic painted inner frame was a lot of fun to create. It shines through gaps in the armor really well. The base was a steel forge silver primer. Over which i used various brands of paint for the detailing.
