GN-R2 Gundam Antares

This is one of the 5 gundams on board Andromeda. It is the GN-R2 Gundam Antares. Antares was built to be the long range shooter of the group. With various types of equipment and weapons, it was a versatile machine. 

It's main weapon is the GN lightning rifle. It has extra sensors for deadly accuracy even from great distances. It can also equip the GN full shield for defense

This is the GN booster unit. There are also GN thrusters on the backs of the legs and under the shoulder armors. Antares is a highly mobile unit as well.

Here the GN lightning rifle is in its burst mode. The barrels are exchanged and this one allows for bigger, more widespread beam shots. Also attached are 2 GN assault rifles. These rapid fire rifles are mainly used when and if the lightning rifle is out of commission 

On the sides of the legs are the holsters for the GN pistols. While not very powerful, they can still cause damage. Mainly used in close proximity with enemy units. 

Finally it has 2 GN beam sabers stored in the side skirts. 

The beam sabers output can be changed by the pilot so it can also make a shorter gn beam dagger type blade.
