HGTWFM Dilanza Ground Type (custom)

MD-009/N  Dilanza Nur 

An earth based customization of the Dilanza from the Jeturk corporation. It was overhauled and updated for in atmosphere confrontations. Improvements were made on the thrusters and shock absorbers to make it more efficient for piloting under gravity. The primary addition is the handheld beam gatling cannon. A rapid fire,6 barreled cannon that fires 80mm beam pellets. The sheer number of pellets and the coverage area means it can cause great damage to any enemy in the battlefield. It's powered by an external energy tank. Once it's depleted, the entire weapon is discarded. It can be recovered by friendly units to be reused. 

One of the best upgrades are these new thrusters on the outside of the legs. They improve the Dilanza's hovering capabilities as well as its overall mobility. While the machine may look clunky and out of place on the surface, it's actually quite capable of strategic hit and run assaults

As for weaponry, it uses the backpack from the Sol variant. This particular one has had hard points added for mounting various types of equipment and weaponry. Shown are the 200mm high output beam cannons. These cannons are battery powered, so when they run out, they can be replaced for continuous use or purged for other equipment. The battery life is around 19-20 shots per cannon, depending on the output level. 

The sensors were given another overhaul to improve targeting and reduce friendly fire incidents. The backpack also contains micro missiles that have smaller ones packed into each missile, so when fired, the coverage area is too great to avoid damage. Once all the newer weaponry has been used, it still has access to either the beam rifle or beam torch, depending on pilot preference. It can also be equipped with 2 massive booster units to give even greater mobility. The Dilanza Nur is definitely an enemy that you would not want to see in the battlefield on the other side.
