For this project, my main goal was to do a more fun build with less pressure to have a perfect end product. I plan on doing these in between larger scale builds. I sought the freedom to try whatever techniques I wanted without any pressure to go back over any imperfections etc. This is not a competition build. There are plenty of blemishes visible on this build that a judge would see up close. All of those are lessons learned. I also do not typically build HG scale gundam so this was a fun departure from the norm.
I love the look of the Vual, especially its shoes that remind me of the Impez Studio Gundam Barbatos resin conversion kit. As usual, I really enjoy building and painting mobile suits that, to me, seem to get less love and custom attention from other builders I see online, but still are cool as hell.
I understand why HGIBO kits get a bad rap. There are a lot of annoying seam lines on this kit and plenty of poly caps. Worth the work.
Thank you for taking the time to view my work and catch up on my thoughts!

I am a North American builder who prefers Master Grade 1/100 kits but also builds 1/144 occasionally. I am inspired by Kazuhisa Kondo, Hajime Katoki, and MAX Wantanabe. I like to build unique kits that I don’t see get painted as often as they should.
