Absolutely! Here is the English version of the text, following the same structure and incorporating the details from your images.

Custom Project: HG MS-04 Bugu – The Zeon “Heavy Duty” Mobile Suit

This project is an intensive modification of the HG 1/144 MS-04 Bugu (Ramba Ral Custom) kit from the Gundam The Origin line. My goal was to transform the Mobile Suit into a heavy infantry combat unit, giving it a rugged and extremely weathered appearance, as if it had spent months on the battlefield without maintenance.

I. Modifications (Modding/Kitbashing)

The process began with the physical modifications, which are visible in the photo of the unpainted kit (blue plastic and beige parts). The original Ramba Ral Bugu has a lighter aesthetic, so the main alterations were:

 * Added Armor: The Bugu’s base armor was significantly reinforced. Additional armor plating (“improvised chobham armor”) was added to the shoulders, legs, and skirt armor. In the blue photo, these pieces are beige, which highlights the additions.

 * Torso and Skirt Details: More mechanical details and rivets were integrated, especially in the central torso area and the skirt, to accentuate its industrial and military look.

 * Heavy Armament: It was equipped with a custom long-range rifle and a large rear shield that was also modified with several layers and rivets, giving it a mesh and overlapping metal texture.

 * External Piping and Hoses: Visible hoses and cables were added to simulate external hydraulic or cooling systems, emphasizing the feeling of being an oversized and powered-up machine.

II. Paint Scheme: Pre-shading and Color Fade (Degrade/Chipping)

Once the pieces were assembled and prepped, the focus shifted to painting.

 * Primer and Pre-shading: A dark base color (black/very dark grey) was applied to all parts, concentrating on the panel lines and recesses.

 * Color Fade Effect (Green-White):

   * The primary base color is a military olive green.

   * A fade or reverse pre-shading was applied using a light grey or off-white color on the center areas of the armor panels (especially visible in the early photos on the workbench). This creates a lighting and volume effect, making the center of the panels brighter and making the color appear subtly sun-faded.

   * The feet and some armor plates were painted in a lighter grey color to create contrast with the dominant green.

 * Color Accents: Interior details and thrusters were highlighted with intense red, providing small focal points of color that suggest heat or internal mechanisms.

III. Extreme Weathering

The final and defining stage was the weathering process, which truly brought the “Heavy Duty” concept to life.

 * Chipping and Wear: Scratches and paint chips were simulated on the corners and edges of the armor. Underneath the green and grey paint, a dark color (burnt metal or black) was applied to mimic exposed bare and rusted metal.

 * Washes and Integration: Dark color washes (black, brown, and rust) were applied to all panel lines and details using the pin-wash technique. This not only highlights the depth of the modifications but also creates an appearance of accumulated grime and dirt.

 * Grime and Corrosion (Streaking and Rust): Streaking effects of dirt and rust were created, especially on the shield and flat areas, using oil paints or enamels. The rust spots are concentrated around rivet heads and joints.

 * Dust and Mud Effect: The boots and the lower sections of the armor were treated with pigments and mud/dust effects, simulating that the Mobile Suit has traversed rough and wet terrain.

The final result (black background photos) is a Bugu that looks like it was pulled straight out of a warzone, with a more imposing silhouette and a palpable combat history etched into every worn panel.
