This was my first time doing heavier customizations. Particularly the color change on the armor and the weapon mounting were new for me. I was never a big fan of the GM but the ground GM is an exception to the rule and has become one of my favourite projects that ive done.

The main gun came from a re 100 kit as an expansion part for yet a other kit. I primed it and gave it a full paint job and put it in the hands of the GM. I feel it fits his ground vibe very well.

The very bright orange on the original did not fit the ground type vibe for me so i used tamiya spray can to go for nato green i steady. I used various paint and weathering powder to great a more grimey look. The bullet holes were done with a hand drill, modeling Putty and chrome markers.

Peek a boo

I love rocket pods. I used 30mm parts to make it shoulder mounted instead of hand held. It was my first time using a hand drill. I really liked the results!

Using paint for chipping and blush to soften the sharp contrast created a nice. Blended weathering effect that was still subtle.

Tanks-on-Legs

I love plamo mecha of all sorts. My favourite styles are mass produced, military, mechanical, over the top. Favourite mecha design is armored core. I love trying out different product lines and different manufacturers to create a very wide and unique mecha collection.
