This is a kit that i built last year, but i ended up changing its decals like three times. Once again i went for an older look, i wanted the red stripes you can see in the Real type GM, alongside the old markings and shapes that old gundam illustrations had.

I think this is such a beautiful, simple kit, i appreciate its engineering, how straightforward it is to construct. The only meaningful modification i did was scribing an extra panel line at the frontskirt.

It's main downside is that it is somewhat limited, articulation wise. Wish it had the shoulder joint that the HGUC RX-78 (021) has, maybe a bit more of movement on the frontskirt.

Hello! The HG GM is truly a classic masterpiece of a kit.

It is certainly an older model, so its range of motion is somewhat limited compared to modern HG kits, but it still boasts outstanding proportions that perfectly capture the quintessential GM look.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful build.

I really hope they remake it as a “Revive” version someday…
