This is a HGUC Zaku II F2 built originally in 2024, i tried a lot of things on it and wasn’t happy with the result. A month ago i decided to rework it in full, painting, weathering and decals. I wanted to take the chance and submit it to a contest, this is my first time doing so.

これは2024年に製作したHGUC ザクII F2です。当時いろいろと試行錯誤してみたものの、仕上がりに満足がいきませんでした。そこで1ヶ月前、塗装、ウェザリング、デカール貼りを含め、全面的に作り直すことにしました。せっかくの機会なので、コンテストに応募してみようと思います。コンテストへの参加は今回が初めてです。

Originally this was the white EFSF version of the kit, i tried scribing on it with poor results. After painting over the white with a spray can, i weathered the kit to give it a worn out, desert look.

元々はEFSF（地球連邦軍）仕様の白いキットでしたが、スジ彫りを試みたところ、あまりうまくいきませんでした。その後、白いパーツの上からスプレー缶で塗装し、ウェザリングを施すことで、使い込まれた砂漠仕様のような見た目に仕上げました。

For decals i wanted it to keep it simple, a few white markings with some numbering and insignias.

デカールはシンプルに抑えたかったので、白いマーキングをいくつか配置し、番号や記章を加えました。

The HGUC Zaku II F2 is a very beautiful kit, i really love the tougher look.

HGUC ザクII F2型はとても素晴らしいキットですね。よりタフな印象の見た目がすごく気に入っています。

This is how the kit looked the first time i worked on it, it's white but i still wanted to make it Zeon.

初めてこのキットを手に取った時の状態がこれです。白いキットでしたが、どうしてもジオン仕様にしたかったんです。

I used tamiya lacquer in spray, i'm really happy with how it turned out.
