This was my first try at entering the GBWC. I was encouraged by my local store to at least try, there wasn’t too much time left so I made something that could be finished fairly quickly.
For this project I tried scribing for the first time and adding details with plastic sheets. I was really nervous carving into the model but after a while I felt a bit more confindent.
The symbol comes from the emblem pack, I tried painting it using non-metallic metal, but I still need a lot of practice.
This shot reminds me of Super Robot Wars
Here's a look at some of the extra details added before painting. I worked on the back parts first, if it turned out bad, it was only the back which wouldn't be seen much, and the backpack would cover it up too.
