PMX-000 メッサーラ Crimson Moon

This is my favourite image. I feel the pose is natural and dynamic.  

メッサラは他のHGユニットと比べてもひときわ存在感を放っている。

The Messala stands tall against other HG units. It has great presence.

飛行装備が本当に大好きです。すごくかっこいい。

I can't get enough of the flight gear. It's so cool.

メッサラは、独特の体型と巨大な飛行装備のため、ポーズをつけるのが非常に難しい。

The Messala is quite challenging to pose because of the unique body proportions and HUGE flight gear. 

メッサラはビームソードを2本装備している。

Messala is equipped with 2 beam swords.

上部が重い構造のため、台座が付属しています。もう自分で作る必要はありません。

Because of the top heavy proportions, a base is provided. No longer will I need to make my own. 

メッサラはモビルアーマー形態にも変形できる。超カッコいい。

The Messala can also transform into a Mobile Armour form. It's super slick.

色々な配色を試行錯誤するのにかなりの時間を費やしましたが、赤と紫の組み合わせが互いに引き立て合っていて満足しています。

I spent a lot of time toying with different colour schemes but I'm pleased with how the red and purple compliment each other. 

バーニアスラスタ内部の黄色は、鮮やかに仕上げるために何度も塗り重ねる必要がありました。本当は白い下地塗料を使うべきだったのですが、残念ながら手元になく、黒いものしかありませんでした。

The yellow inside the vernier thrusters require lots of coats to get vibrant. Really, I should have used a light base primer, alas I didn't have any, only black.

この作品は、サイズが大きかったことと塗装するパーツの数が多かったため、かなり苦労しました。何度も休憩を取らざるを得ませんでした。私はとてもせっかちで、物事を早く終わらせたいタイプなのですが、なんとか集中力を保ち、最後までやり遂げることができました。

I got quite bogged down with this build due to the shear size and number of parts to paint. I had to have a lots of breaks. I'm very impatient and want things to be speedy. I managed to stay focused though and see it through to the end.
