00 Gundam Seven Sword/G

時は2018年、私はちょうど仕事を失ったばかりだった。かなり辛い時期だった。そんな時、気持ちを落ち着かせるために、ガンダム00セブンソードを組み立て、自分好みのカラーリングを施した。

The year is 2018 and I had just lost my job. It was a pretty tough time. To help focus the mind I built this 00 Gundam Seven Sword and gave it a custom colour scheme. 

この機械が搭載している武器の数に圧倒されました。本当に素晴らしい。

I was in awe at the amount of weapons this machine has. Truly stunning.

今回が初めてのカスタムカラーへの挑戦でした。経験がほとんどなかったので、やり方が少し変わっているかもしれません。

This was my first ever attempt at a custom colour. I didnt really have any experience, so some of my methods were unorthodox.

スプレー缶とアクリル絵の具で手描きしました。パネルラインには、手元にあった茶色の油性塗料を使いました。溝を埋めて余分な塗料を拭き取るのに、これが意外とうまくいきました。

I used spray cans and hand painted with acrylic paints. For the panel lining, I used some brown oil paint that I had lying around. It actually worked well to fill the grooves and then wipe away excess. 

当時、私のスマホには良いカメラが付いていなかったので、友達からデジタルカメラを借りました。背景にはTシャツをかけて作りました。

Back then, I didnt have a good camera on my phone, so I borrowed a digital camera from a friend. I draped a T-shirt behind to create a backdrop.

この組み立てキットはもう手元にありません。数年後、息子に遊ばせたのですが、壊されてしまいました。残念ですが、せめてこれらの古い写真で思い出を残せるのは幸いです。

I no longer have this build. I gave it to my son to play with years later and it got destroyed. I regret this but at least I have these old photos to keep the memory alive.

これも私が初めて組み立てたMGでした。本当に楽しかった。あの頃はもっと時間があったんです。

This was also the first MG that I built. It was such fun. I had more time back then.
