小さくて楽しいプロジェクトが必要だったので、黒い三つ星テーマで再現されたザクくんを選びました。手描きで、基本的な風化技術を学ぼうとしています。全体的に結果に満足しています。ステンシルは大きな曲線状のヘッドに対して難しく、ある程度の解像度が失われましたが、風化した結果、ダメージ加工された外観にプラスになると判断しました。私が最も好きだった点は、ヒートホークがうまく装着されたことです。これは、トライスターの外観を実現する上で非常に重要だと考えました。
I needed a small and fun project so chose Zaku kun recreated in the black tri star theme. Hand painted and trying to learn some basic weathering techniques. Overall I’m happy with the result. The stencils were difficult on the large curved head and lost some definition but after weathering I decided it added to the distressed look. My favourite part was how well the heat hawk fitted as I thought this was very important to the achieving a tri star appearance

I attempted to produce a heat affect on the heat hawk. To achieve a tri star style I used the much larger 1/100 Zaku 2 axe

I used a brass rod to attach the bazooka to the skirt

I used some decals from the 1/100 Zaku and used some stencils to produce other details such as the three stars

I added various pieces of plastic card. Scribing and some photo etch parts. For example trying to recreate some thrusters on the tiny legs. Bored out the bazooka to add some interest.

Had to cut the end of the heat hawk off and reattach in order to fit in the hand. Picture below before weathering

Thank you so much Zizow San. I really appreciate your comment as this was the part I found really difficult. It was my first time trying this technique and at first I was disappointed. I repainted and still wasn’t happy but then on assembly it looked alot brighter next to the duller weathered kit and I felt happier
