HG スタークジェガン

これはとても楽しいキットで、組み立てにもそれほど時間はかかりませんでしたが、正直に言うと、ポージングの自由度は非常に限られています。肩のランチャーが邪魔になるし、バズーカは脇の下に挟むとかなり邪魔になります。自然なポーズをとらせるのにずいぶん時間がかかりました。

This is such a fun kit and didnt take too long to build, though I have to admit, posing is very limited. The shoulder launchers get in the way and the bazooka is quite cumbersome under the armpit. It took me ages to pose naturally. 

今回は武器に特に注意を払いたかったんです。青いリングは危うく失敗しそうになりました。最初の試みではマスキングテープの下に塗料がにじんでしまったので、2回塗り直さなければなりませんでした。

I wanted to pay extra attention to the weapons this time round. I had a near miss with blue ring. My first attempt left paint bleeding under the masking tape. I had to paint it twice.

バーニアスラスタの内側を塗装したのは今回が初めてです。やってみて本当に良かった。すごく綺麗に仕上がった。

It's the first time I've painted the inside of the vernier thrusters. I'm glad I did, they look so good. 

ポーズをとってしばらくすると、自作のアクションベースが壊れてしまいました。キットを勢いよく掴んだ時に、弱い部分が折れてしまったようです。しまった。ちゃんとしたアクションベースが必要になりそうです。

After a short while posing, I broke my home-made action base. There was a weak piece which snapped as I abruptly grabbed the kit. Oops. A proper action base is in order. 

装甲や重火器を装備していない状態の写真もいくつかあります。ジェガンは本当にスタイリッシュなユニットですね。
