先日、マンチェスターにあるガンプラ専門店に行ってきました。小さなお店でしたが、キットがぎっしり詰まっていて、まるで子供がお菓子屋さんに入ったみたいでした。そこで2つのキットを購入しました。そのうちの1つはHGスタークジェガンです。今回のプロジェクトは、若干の改造を加えたフルカラーカスタムです。完成イメージのカラーモックアップをこちらに載せておきます。まずは、合わせ目処理から。実はこれまでやったことがなかったので、まずは武器から試してみることにしました。うまくいったでしょうか？皆さんのご意見をお聞かせください。-I recently took a trip to Manchester to visit a shop that specialises in Gunpla.     Octordenさん、新プロジェクトの始動おめでとうございます！

    マンチェスターでの素敵な出会いから始まったのですね。「フルカラーカスタム」のモックアップ、鮮やかな配色で完成がとても楽しみです。

     

    初めての「合わせ目処理」に武器から挑戦されたとのことですが、写真を見る限りとても丁寧に作業されていて、大成功だと思いますよ！

     

    こうした基本的な工作の積み重ねが、最終的なカラーカスタムの仕上がりをより引き立ててくれるはずです。これからの進捗も応援しています！

     

     

     

    Congratulations on starting your new project, Octorden! It sounds like you had a wonderful find in Manchester. The mockup for your “full colour custom” looks fantastic—I’m really looking forward to seeing those vibrant colors in person. Regarding your first “seam line removal,” looking at the photos, I’d say it’s a huge success! You’ve done a very neat job. Consistently tackling these fundamental techniques will definitely elevate the final look of your custom paint job. I’m rooting for your progress!

      シンイチさん、本当にありがとうございます。それぞれの作品制作に様々なテクニックを取り入れて、総合的なスキルを向上させていきたいと思います。そしていつか、それらのスキルをすべて結集して究極の作品を作り上げることができれば…きっと。

       

      Thank you so much Shinichi. Ill try to incorporate some different techniques with each build to improve on my overall skill set. Then perhaps one day, bring all those skills together to create the ultimate piece… perhaps.

        「いつか究極の作品を」という言葉、とても素敵です！

        新しい技法に一つずつ向き合い、自分のスキルとして蓄積していくプロセスそのものが、モデラーとしての最大の醍醐味ですよね。

         

        今のOctordenさんの探究心があれば、その「究極の一作」へ辿り着く日は決して遠くないと確信しています。焦らず、今の「楽しむ心」を大切にしながら、一歩ずつ進んでいく姿をこれからも応援させてください！

         

         

         

         It’s truly wonderful to hear your goal of creating an “ultimate piece” one day! The process of tackling new techniques one by one and building up your skill set is, in my opinion, the most rewarding part of being a modeler. With your current passion for exploration, I’m convinced that the day you reach that “ultimate masterpiece” is not far off. Take your time, keep cherishing that “spirit of having fun,” and know that I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
