支援ユニット、進捗報告

サポートユニットの工作と塗装がすべて完了しました。正直なところ、マスキングテープを剥がして、色分けされた非常に美しいパーツが現れる瞬間は、この趣味において最も満足感を得られるひとときの一つです。また今回は、スポンジを使ってつや消しトップコートを塗るという新しい手法も試してみました。使用したのは「アーミーペインター（Army Painter）」のマットバーニッシュですが、非常にうまくいっています。これで、スプレー缶を使わない塗装方法にまた一歩近づきました。仕上げにもう一度作業を行えば完成です。その後は撮影に移る予定です。それでは、またお会いしましょう。

All the modelling and painting has been completed for the support unit. Honestly one of the most satisfying moments is peeling back the masking tape and revealing the ultra slick colour separated parts. I’ve also experimented with a new technique, applying a matt top coat with a sponge. I’m using some Army Painter Matt Varnish. Its going very well. This is another step closer to a spray free approach. I’ll need one final session to finish then I’ll move onto photography. See you all soon.
