モデルはまだ完成していませんが、我慢できずにちょっとだけお見せするために組み立ててみることにしました。長々と話さないようにします。このモデルの塗装で多くのことを学びました。小さな決断が、結果を大きく左右するのです。最初の頃は気に入らなかったのですが、今は納得し始めています。さあ、早速見ていきましょう。表面は、スプレー缶のブラックのアーミーペインタープライマーです。この製作にはヴァレホの塗料を使用しています。一番濃い青から始めて、明るい青へとグラデーションを作っていきます。今回は頭部にもっと注意を払いたいと思いました。グスタフ・カールの頭部は少し雑でした。スポンジを空けてドライブラシ風のアプローチをすると、頭部の盛り上がった部分を捉えて光に当てることができ、うまくいきました。全体的にとても青くなっています。もしかしたら青すぎるかもしれません。幸い、赤が少しだけバランスを取ってくれています。次回は、鎧と手足を区別するために別の色を加えてみたいと思っています。武器はまだ少し作業が残っているので、一緒に飾るためのカスタムベースをもう一つ作ってみたいと思っています。読んでいただきありがとうございました。またのご来店をお待ちしております。-The model is not finished but I could not resist and decided to build it up for a quick sneak peek.I'll try not to ramble on.I learned a lot painting this model. The Gustav Karl head was a little sloppy.I found that unloading the sponge and doing a dry brush style approach worked well on the head piece, to catch the raised areas and bring them into the light.Overall, it is very blue. Maybe too blue. Luckily the red helps to break it up a little.     Octordenさん、新作の投稿拝見しました！
    特に「小さな決断が、結果を大きく左右する」という言葉、深く共感します。

     

    制作の過程で、最初はしっくりこなかった部分が、手を動かし続けるうちに「納得」へと変わっていく……その瞬間にこそ、作品に魂が宿るのだと思います。

     

    私自身の制作においても、そうした小さな決断の積み重ねがすべてだと思っているので、Octordenさんが葛藤を乗り越えて納得のいく形にまで持っていったその粘り強さに、強い熱量を感じました。素晴らしい仕上がりですね！

    I deeply resonate with your words: “Small decisions greatly influence the final result.”
    In the building process, there are moments when something doesn’t feel quite right at first, but as you keep working on it, it eventually turns into a sense of “conviction.” I believe that’s exactly when a soul is breathed into the model.
    In my own work, I feel that the accumulation of those tiny decisions is everything. Seeing how you pushed through that internal struggle to reach a result you’re happy with shows true passion and persistence. It’s a fantastic finish!

      Thank you so much for your kind words. We often use the phrase ‘trust the process’ when results aren’t visible straight away.

        結果が見えない時でも、自分の手とプロセスを信じて進む時間は、苦しくもありますが最も贅沢な時間でもあります。

         

        Octordenさんのその揺るぎない姿勢が、作品に深みを与えているのだと改めて確信しました。こちらこそ、大切な気づきをありがとうございます！

      ありがとうございます。エッジハイライトは気に入っていて、いくつか方法も集めてみました。おっしゃる通り、パーツがとても小さいので、写真だと実際よりも大きく見えてしまうことが多いです。
